Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak versatile player, Caleb Amankwah is injured and is likely to miss the team’s CAF Champions League gane with Wydad Casablanca.
According our sources, Amankwah picked up an injury in the Rainbow Boys win over Guinean side CI Kamsar in September and has since been out of training.
He is unlikely to feature for the Phobians when they host the Moroccan powerhouse in Sunday’s game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Amankwah has become an important player for the club and has been a pivot for the club due to his recent form. He ended last season on a high as he won Man-Of-The-Match awards in the MTN FA Cup semi-final and finals respectively.
His absence could be a big problem for Hearts of Oak in the crucial game on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak will host the Moroccan champions on Sunday, October 17.
