Ghana’s Black Stars deputy coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor, has congratulated Maxwell Konadu on his appointment as new head coach of Asante Kotoko.
The former Black Stars assisted coach , was earlier this week appointed the new substantive coach of Kotoko to replace Norwegian trainer Kjetil Zachariassen who was fired for poor performance.
And Akonnor, who guided the Porcupine Warriors to the group stage of last year’s Caf Confederation Cup, has wished his colleague the very best to succeed at the club.

Konadu, 48, joined Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal and has been tasked to win the upcoming Ghana Premier League and qualify the club to next season’s Caf Champions League.
During his last spell at the club, he won the Ghana Premier League before vacating his post to pick the Black Stars assistant coach job under head coach James Kwasi Appiah.
