Young Ghana star Kudus Mohammed will miss Ghana’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Ethiopia and South Africa respectively, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The Ghanaian international has been hit with injury at club and will be unavailable for selection when Ghana take on Ethiopia on Friday.
He will also miss the match against South Africa on next week Monday at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg which will be a big blow for CK Akonnor and his charges.
AFC Ajax Amsterdam coach, Erik Ten Hag has confirmed that Kudus will be out with an injury for at least three weeks which will make him unavailable to feature for the Black Stars.
The 21-year-old was named in the Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa despite being injured as they were hoping he would be fit before the two matches.
Kudus suffered an ankle injury in a pre-season friendly against Anderlecht and still recovering from the injury.
