Ghanaian defender Daniel Opare returned from injury to feature for Zulte Waregem as they posted a 4-1 win against Waasland-Beveren in the Belgium Jupiler League on Saturday afternoon.
Opare suffered an injury while making his competitive debut for new club against KRC Genk in April and returned to action for his side who proved very pitiless against Waasland-Beveren in matchday three of the Belgian top-flight league.
Striker Jelle Vossen opened the scoring for the home side after 28 minutes into the game to give them a 1-0 first-half lead.
Back from recess, Gianni Bruno doubled their lead in the 49th minute from the spot with Omar Govea grabbing the third goal for Zulte Waregem in the 63rd-minute mark of the game.
Daan Heymans, however, managed to score the only consolation goal for the visitors in the 73rd minute.
The Ghanaian international started the game but had to pave way for Cameron Humphreys in the 77th minute.
