Dutch giants AFC Ajax Amsterdam remain confident of landing sensational Ghanaian kid Kamaldeen Sulemana despite interest from other clubs.
The Red and Whites are keen on landing the 19-year-old to the Johan Cruyff Arena this summer ahead of the 2021-22 season in Netherlands.
England Premier League giants, Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC have all confirmed their interest in signing the Ghana International winger.
The Ghanaian was seen in France amid interest from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes but nothing has come out from both parties, leaving the deal open.
“As long as the signature is missing, he is not an Ajax player. We want to bring new energy to the team,” Erik Ten Hag said when asked about the Ghanaian youngster.
“And when Marc Overmars (Ajax’s sporting director) First bites into something, he does not let go easily,” the coach of the Dutch champions added.
Last summer, Ajax also picked up Kamaldeen Sulemana’s compatriot Mohammed Kudus in FC Nordsjaelland.
