Former Ghana U-20 starman, Ebenezer Assifuah was on the score sheet for Pau FC in the French Ligue 2 against Toulouse on Wednesday evening.
The Ghanaian forward came from the bench to score his team’s second equalizer of the match as they picked crucial point on the road to move out of relegation zone.
Vakoun Issouf Bayo scored the opening goal of the match after nine minutes to make it 1-0 to the home team as the finished the half in front.
A minute into the second half, Erwin Koffi grabbed the equalizer for the visitors but Bayo struck again nine minutes into the second half to restore Toulouse FC one goal advantage.
On the 63rd minute of the match, Assifuah was introduced to the match to replace Romain Armand and spent just three minutes on the field to score the equalizer for Pau as it ended 2-2.
The 25-year-old striker has made 33 appearances in the French Ligue 2 this season and has found the back of the net five times with one assist to his name.
