Elmina Sharks FC head coach, Yaw Acheampong has attributed his team’s current predicament in the league to lack of money in the club.
According to the gaffer, players suffer to get back to full fitness to help his side secure wins in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season due to unavailable funds to help the Lads recover quicker when injured.
“Coach Yaw Acheampong: injured players find it difficult treating themselves because there’s no money in the club now”,he told Ahomka FM in Cape Coast.
He further stated that the technical team excluding himself has a running contract with the Elmina-based club and that is quite worrying.
“None of my Technical team has an official contract with the team now as we speak”, he added.
Elmina Sharks FC are currently struggling to win games in the ongoing Premier League and drew their last game against fellow struggles Berekum Chelsea on Monday evening.
