Newly promoted premier league side Elmina Sharks tasted their first premier league game at the Nduom sports stadium with a defeat against Aduana Stars on Sunday.
The impatience supporters of Elmina club trooped to the Nduom sports stadium with the hope of putting an icing to a cake with their newly built stadium but after the crunch encounter with the Aduana based side, Aduana took all three points with a 0-1 win over Sharks.
After the game, a section of the Elmina Sharks supporters couldn’t control their emotions as they sent a strong warning to the technical department of their team headed by Coach Kwabena Amissah.
The irate supporters cautioned the coach who qualified Sharks to the premier league for the first time in their history to pack out if he’s not ready to make amends with the poor showing of his side.
Elmina Shark who currently have 0 point were originally scheduled to open their premier league campaign against Wa All Stars but the game had to be postponed due to Wa all stars’s game against Al Alhly Tripoli in the CAF champions league.
