Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah says he couldn’t control his emotions when news of the passing of veteran coach Emmanuel Kwesi Afrane was got to him.
Kwesi Appiah who had a spell with the Black Stars worked with coach Afrane who is a member of the technical committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
In an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM, the Sudan based coach said that “It was very difficult for me to control my emotions when I heard his sudden death. I used to talk to him even at on his sickness bed when I was in Sudan. He is inspirational to me and has given me loads of advice. A true legend is gone”.
