SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report that striker Daniel Lomotey is set to return to the Ghana Premier League after his widely-reported transfer to Tunisian club AS Soliman fall-through at the last minute.
The WAFA SC attacker left Ghana for Tunisia last week to seal a deal with Soliman after an impressive start to the 2020-21 Ghanaian top-flight campaign.
However, we can report that the deal could not materialize following disagreements over transfer-fee between WAFA and the Tunisian side.
Information available to us indicate that the Sogakope based club did not accept the offer tabled before them by Soliman- an offer which is deemed woefully below their valuation of their priced asset.
The Tunisians’ quest to convince WAFA with a whopping 40% share of any future transfer of the joint Ghana League top scorer yielded no result with the Ghanaian club insisting that their valuation be met first.
AS Soliman has now pulled out of the deal and are already in the market searching for an alternative.
Meanwhile, Lomotey will return to Ghana this week to re-join his team mates as they continue their campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
