Ghanaian promising defender David Acquah has extended his stay at Israeli top-flight side Hapoel Nof HaGalil after he spearheaded them to the elite division of the country’s football league and also winning the ToTo Cup with the club.
The versatile Ghanian Defender has extended his loan for one another year with the club from his mother club Maccabi HaiIfa FC.
Acquah, 20, signed for Maccabi Haifi in 2019 but was shipped out on loan at second-tier side Hapoel Nof Hagalil.
The former Tudu Mighty Jets guardsman quickly established himself in the team, helping them to seal promotion to the top-flight.
Acquah was handed a call-up into the Black Satellites for the 2021 African Youth Championship in Mauritania.
However, he failed to join the team to the tournament due to lockdown restrictions in Israel which did not permit travel out of the country.
