Ghanaian youth international Joseph Paintsil is expected to land in Turkey this week for medicals ahead of a switch to Super Lig side MKE Ankaragucu, SPORTS WORLD GHANA can report.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively reveal that talks between Genk and the Ankara based club were completed on Tuesday morning and Paintsil is set for a one-year loan deal.
Paintsil, 22, is not in the immediate plans of manager Hannes Wolf and he has been told that the best option would be the loan deal.
The Black Meteors winger has not featured for his club this season as the loan deal to Turkey looms.
He previously featured for Tema Youth as well as Hungarian champions Ferencvarosi before signing for Genk in 2018.
