Highly-rated Ghanaian defender, Kwaku Donkor has officially made a career-high move to English side Blackpool Football Club, the club has confirmed.
The youngster makes the move to Blackpool where he will join the club’s academy side for the upcoming season. Kwaku Donkor has been one of the versatile teenagers on the scene in recent times, capable of operating as a right-back or more advance as a central midfielder.
An official announcement on the club’s social media platform read: “We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Kwaku Donkor.
“Kwaku joins the Club ahead of the 2021/22 North West Youth Alliance campaign and signs a two-year scholarship.”
Speaking after completing his move to the club, the sensational youngster added: “It’s a very good moment for me and my family. Hard work pays off, and I’m just happy to sign for Blackpool. Hopefully, it’s the first of many!”
Kwaku joins the club from Onside Football Academy and will be hoping to create a remarkable impressive in the youth ranks.
