Ghanaian striker Abdul Basit Khalid is set to join Tanzanian giants Simba SC in the ongoing transfer window.
The gangling striker’s contract was terminated by Tunisian champions Esperance earlier this month and he is currently a free agent.

Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that Simba SC manager Didier Gomes has identified the attacker whose style of play fits his system and he has asked the club to sign him.
Talks have already begun between the player, his representatives as well as Simba and baring any hitch, he can have his medicals in Morocco where the Tanzanian powerhouse are having their preseason.
Basit netted twice in the Tunisian Ligue 1 for Esperance last season.
