English Championship side Wycombe Wanderers are interested in signing Harold Essien in the January transfer window.
Essien was one of the essential players at Middlesbrough last season season making eighteen league appearances for their under 18 team but agreement for contract extension could not materialized and he was released in June this year.
Sportsworldghana.com can reveal that Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth is in the market looking for a young right-back and is hoping to sign Essien next month.
Born to Ghanaian parents in Manchester, Essien went through the City Academy before moving to Middlesbrough in June 2018 for an undisclosed fee.
He is yet to be capped by either Ghana or England at any level.
