Ghana forward Tariqe Fosu was on target twice for Brentford as they posted a comprehensive 7 – 2 win against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday afternoon in the English Championship.
Ethan Pinnock opened the scoring for the home team after just nine minutes into the game before Uche Ikpeazu restored parity for Wycombe Wanderers five minutes later.
In the 41st minute, Tariqe Fosu gave Brentford a 2-1 lead but Admiral Muskwe made it 2-2 two minutes later, ending the first half two apiece.
Back from recess, Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu struck again in the 50th minute to record his first brace of the season.
In the 56th minute, Ivan Toney scored from the spot to extend the lead to 4-2 before Sergi Cano added one in the 81st minute.
Ivan Toney and Joshua Dasilva added one each in the 86th and 89th minute respectively to wrap up a superlative 7-2 win for Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Fosu, who was subbed in the 82nd minute for Marcus Forss, was also on target for Brentford when they drew 1-1 against Swansea City in their midweek fixture.
