Kyrgyzstan defender of Ghanaian parentage Daniel Nii Armah Tagoe has been unveiled by Tajikstan Premier League side FC Dushanbe.
The experienced centre-back signed for Dushanbe on a free transfer this window after ending his contract with Myanmar club Shan FC last December.
He is expected to provide the guard at the back of Dushanbe FC as they seek to win the league title and qualify for the Asian Champions League.
Born in Ghana to a prominent Ga Chief in Bukom-Accra, Tagoe started his career with Berekum Arsenals after which he moved to Russia and later to Kyrgyzstan in 2009.
He featured for the country’s biggest team Dordoi Bishkek and attained cult status which made them to naturalize him.
He is currently married to a Kyrgyzstan immigration officer and has been dominant force in the countries national team since 2013.
