Dutch side FC Twente are keen on signing striker Brian Brobbey from Ajax this summer on loan, SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
Brobbey, 18, is yet to accept a new deal from Ajax to extend his contract which ends in June 2021.
The Tukkers are currently busily looking for at least two strikers to revamp their attacking department ahead of the 2020/21 season and have identified the Ghana international as of best strikers who suit their style of play.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that there is a good chance that two Ajax players will move to FC Twente on loan, with Brian Brobbey and Danilo Pereira being the main candidates.
Brobbey who was on the radar of Spanish giants Real Madrid in the winter transfer window, helped the Dutch U-17 side to two consecutive Euro U-17 titles in 2018 and 2019, scoring three goals in each edition of the tournament.
He’s known as a very physical forward who is a true number ‘9’ and has a knack for scoring goals.
He is the youngest of four brothers who all play professional football: Kevin Luckassen (Romanian first-tier Poli Iasi), Derrick Luckassen (Anderlecht, on loan from PSV), and Samuel Brobbey (former FC Twente, currently at Almere City).
