Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has been handed a call up to play for the Black Stars of Ghana in their upcoming AFCON 2019 qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Annan, who has been in superb form for the Porcupine Warriors, has impressed the Ghana boss, Kwasi Appiah, who has decided to include him in his squad for the game.
The 23-year-old shot stopper last featured for the Black Stars when they played their first AFCON 2019 qualifier against Ethiopia in 2017.
His inclusion means he is the only local based player who makes the final squad to face Sierra Leone on October 11th at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
Felix Annan will rival Richard Ofori and Lawrence Ati-Zigi for the No. 1 spot.
