Ghana’s Coach Kwasi Appiah, has named a 18-man squad for the next month’s AFCON 2019 qualifier against Sierra Leone.
Skipper Asamoah Gyan who has not featured for the side since the World Cup qualifier draw against Congo in Kumasi last year, has been handed a recall into the side despite his lack of game time at Kayserispor.
Mubarak Wakaso who was left out of the squad for the loss against Kenya, has been recalled into team following his scintillating start to the campaign with Deportivo Alaves.
Kwesi Appiah has handed a call up to John Boye, who has rediscovered his form in the French Ligue 2 with FC Metz. The guardsman was called up for the match against Kenya but pulled out due to injury.
Emmanuel Boateng who also missed the last match through injury has also been called up for the must win clash.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko safest pair of hands, Felix Annan is the only new addition to the squad as Alfred Duncan who has started the season brightly for US Sassuolo misses out through injury.
