Ghana’s U20 female national team [Black Princesses] were handed a 4-1 defeat by host country France in the ongoing FIFA 2018 women’s world Cup.
The Ghanaian team conceded their first goal as early in the 6th minute through striker Emelyne Laurent.
Laurent again scored on the 31st minute to complete her brace on the day.
France kept dominating the game as the Princesses struggled to counter their incessant threat.
Fercocq however got the host their third goal before recess when she struck on the 37th minute.
The Black Princesses of Ghana upped their game a bit in the second half and scored in the 58th minute of the game when Grace Asantewaa played in Sandra Owusu-Ansah, who then rounded goalkeeper Mylene Chavas before finishing her chance to make it 3-1.
But substitute Sandy Baltimore capitalized on rebound free kick to seal a 4-1 victory for France on the 97th minute.
