Former Ghana International goalkeeper Richard Kingston has been named as the new goalkeepers coach for Black Stars B.
The former Blackpool FC shot stopper has been given the coaching role at the senior national team level to train Ghana’s home-based goalkeepers.
The 42-year-old former Wigan Athletic first choice goalkeeper will work under Great Olympics coach, Annor Walker who is the head coach for the Black Stars B team.
Kingson is presently the head coach of Ghana Division Two side Emmanuel FC in the Greater Accra Region and occasionally visits his new boss at the national level Annor Walker at Olympics to offer his support to the team’s goalkeeping department.
The vastly experienced shot stopper was a goalkeepers coach for former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah during the 2019 AFCON, a tournament Ghana was eliminated by Tunisia at the round 16 stage.
