Former Division League Board chairman Kwame Ntwo Fianko has questioned the decision of the The Ghana Football Association Executive Council to schedule the 26th Ordinary Congress of the association for September 1 – the same date the Court of Arbitration for Sports is expected to announce the verdict of the Wilfred Osei Kwaku v GFA case.
The football law expert who is also a Berekum Arsenal official has been quick to react to the new Congress date.
“This was not the initial date communicated to clubs.” he said on Happy FM.
“What has changed for the Ghana Football Association to decide to have the congress on 1st September? The same date that is set for the CAS” the former Division One League Board Chairman Kwame Ntow Fianko Esq. questioned.
“This won’t benefit anyone so the Ghana FA must change the date. Clubs must stand up and request for a new date. We must say no to 1st September for congress” Ntow Fianko fumed.
