Ghanaian forward, Maxwell Baakoh played his first league game for newly promoted team Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian top-flight on Friday evening.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC winger played the last ten minutes of the match as his side secured an impresssive 2-0 win on the road in their first Egypt Premier League game against El Entag El Harby.
Sheriff Dabo gave the visitors the lead three minutes to the break when he converted a 42nd minute spot kick to make sure Cleopatra returned to the dressing room with their noses in front.
Cleopatra came into the second half with more determination and got their second goal of the match after 58 minutes through a beautiful strike from Mamdouh Abdelaziz Nabil to put the away team 2-0 up with over 30 minutes of action to play.
Baakoh, a former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC playmaker was introduced to the match on the 80th minute mark to take the place of Mohamed Mosaad to have his debut in the Egyptian top-flight for his new employers Ceramica Cleopatra who won their first game of the season away from home.
The match ended 2-0 to the newly promoted team Ceramica Cleopatra who looked very good and ready to shock more teams in the EPL this season.
