France-born defender Dennis Appiah of Ghanaian descent, marked his debut for Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Friday.
The 27-year-old defender climbed off the bench on the 62nd minute as Charles Traore’s replacement but could not help his side pick good result as they loss 2-1 to Strasbourg at Stade de la Meinau.
Born to Ghanaian parents in France, Appiah has represented the Europeans giants at youth level but however, remains eligible to play for the Black Stars.

Appiah left Belgian giants
Anderlecht in the summer to join the Ligue 1 side for more playing time.
He has previously featured for AS Monaco.
