Ghanaian-born Academica de Coimbra forward Nii Adamah Plange believes that the Black Stars even without inform Majeed Waris and Raphael Dwamena still has Quality players to win this years Africa Cup of Nation which kicks off on Saturday 14, January in Gabon.
The former Victoria Guimaraes and Sporting Lisbon player feels that the four-time African Champions can win it for the Fifth time this year.
“Ghana still has a good team even without Waris and Raphael and I think the players who have been selected to represent the country are there for a reason so I don’t see anything bad about it. Plange told Sportsworldghana. com in an exclusive interview.
“I know Waris and Dwamena are very good players no doubt about that and they have scored a lot of goals this season but the Coach has already made his decision so all we have to do is support them.
Plange added: “I wish them good luck and I know that the Black Stars has a good and quality players who can win Ghana the trophy. Let’s just pray for them and see what happens.
Ghana will open their African campaign against Uganda on Tuesday.
