Black Satellite midfielder, Evans Sarfo featured for Karela United in the week two of the Ghana Premier League in their first home match at Anyinase.
The combative midfield-gem played an hour of football in the heart of midfield for his team as they beat visitors Inter Allies FC 1-0 to win their first home game at the renovated Cam Park.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC midfielder was a delight to watch throughout the opening half with some beautiful passes and important tackles for the Pride and Passion side.
The 18-year-old versatile and box-to-box midfielder was substituted on the 60th minutes of the match as Franklin Osei took over his place for the last 30 minutes of the match.
Twenty minutes from full time, the hosts were awarded a spot kick which converted by starman Diawisie Taylor to secure all points for the Anyinase-based club.
Sarfo, has played in both games for Karela United as they drew 2-2 in their opening fixture at Obuasi against Ashantigold SC before playing his part in his team’s first home victory in the Ghana Premier League this campaign.
The youngster joined Karela United this summer from Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo SC in Kumasi.
Karela United has four points from two matches this season after two rounds of matches.
