Ghana’s duo, Stephen Sey and Stephen Duah suffered a humiliating defeat in the CAF Confederation Cup as their team team Namungo FC were thrashed by Raja Club Athletic on Wednesday afternoon.
Duah, who plays as center-back played full throttle for his team but could do little to prevent the Tanzania club from receiving a hammering by the Moroccan giants.
Illias Hadad, Fabrice Ngoma and Zakaria Habti scored a goal each on the 8th, 14th and 36th minutes of the first half respectively to put the Green and Whites Eagles in a very comfortable lead.
Two minutes to the break, Sey was introduced to the match and the Ghanaian forward was a great delight to watch throughout the time he spent on the field but could not help his side back into the game as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at home.
Namungo remain bottom of the table after five games without a point and have conceded eight goals whiles they are yet to find the back of the net in the competition.
