Switzerland-born Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah has described as ‘special moment’ to have scored for St. Gallen against his childhood Young Boys FC in the Swiss Super League.
Kwadwo Duah ended his goal drought this season in the Switzerland Super League on Saturday evening against Young Boys FC.
The Ghanaian forward came from the bench to score his very first league goal for FC St Gallen in their 2-1 defeat.
Before his introduction to the match, the home team were cruising to victory with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Five minutes after the attacker’s introduction, the away team were awarded a free-kick just outside the goal area.
The 25-year-old striker struck the ball well and found the top middle of the net with a sumptuous free-kick goal to give the away team hope going into the last 30 minutes of the match.
Young Boys beat Duah’s team, St Gallen 2-1.
The Ghanaian forward has a goal in seven matches this season in the Switzerland Super League for the Green and Whites.
