Ghanaian attacker, Seth Paintsil has sealed a move Austrian Bundesliga side, TSV Hartberg ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The winger was a free agent following his departure from SD Ried in the just ended season and will now represent the Austrian side, after penning a two-year deal.
A statement on the club’s website read:
“TSV Egger Glas Hartberg is pleased to announce another new addition , Seth Paintsil . The offensive player from Ghana signed a two-year contract until the summer of 2023 . The 26-year-old last played for Admira and SV Ried and made 44 appearances in the top Austrian league.”
After sealing the move, the talented winger added: “I’m happy to be here and hope to be able to help the team with goals and assists. TSV Hartberg has come a long way in the Bundesliga and I’m looking forward to showing the fans more of myself.”
Chairman and managing director of TSV Hartberg Erich Korherr also said: “Seth Paintsil convinced during the training days, he knows the league and is very quick.”
The player received several offers from some top European clubs before deciding to sign for TSV Hartberg.
