Ghanaian striker Zakaria Mugeese struck to help FC Ashdod record victory against Maccabi Netanya in the Israeli top-flight.
The former Dreams FC player was impressive as Ashdod secured a 3-2 win at home.
Mugeese shot Ashdod ahead after just two minutes into the clash. Three minutes later, Nenad Cvetkovic scored to extend Ashdod lead.
However, before recess, the visitors pulled one back through Aviv Avraham who scored in the 35th minute mark to make it 2-1.
Back from break, Yaakov Berihon scored for Ashdod in the 74th minute to make it 3-1 but Igor Zlatanovic found the back of the net in the dyeing embers of the game to make 3-2.
The 21-year-old has netted 4 goals and delivered 1 assist in 16 games for FC Ashdod this season.
