Ghana international, Kamaldeen Sulemana looks set to snub interest from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam in favour of a move to French outfit Rennes.
The youngster had strongly linked with Ajax since the closure of the 2020/21 campaign, where he starred for Nordsjaelland in Danish league.
However, according to transfer kingpin Fabrizio Romano, the Ghanaian is well poised for a move to France rather than joining national teammate, Mohammed Kudus in the Netherlands.
The youngster, however, is expected to sign a deal which will expire in June 2026 as the French Ligue 1 side are currently working on his paperwork to enable him sign the contract in the coming days.
Kamaldeen was one of the best players for the Danish club last season, scoring 10 goals in 29 games as his side finished sixth in the Superliga.
Missing out in the Ghanaian will also be a huge blow for the Dutch side who had been toured the favourites for his signature but Rennes have moved ahead in that regard.
Meanwhile, Dusan Tadic has extended his contract with the Dutch Champions by another year after missing out on the Ghanaian player.
He is now contracted as a player until 2024.
