Some section of Ghanaians, particularly the media have descended on Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora calling for coach C.K Akonnor to drop the Asante Kotoko goalkeeper.
The former WAFA and Azam FC shot-stopper was at the receiving end of a mistake which led to Morocco beating Ghana in a friendly game on Tuesday night.
In a game the Stars are using as part of preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations as well as the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, some football fanatics feel the former WAFA goalkeeper is yet to meet their expectations.
Some of these fans who did not take the mistake lightly took to social media platforms to bash the 24-year-old.
Here are some of the reactions from some Ghanaians on Twitter
Kwame, Abalora's mistakes are becoming more and more per his game at the national team. He should be up and doing

I see that CK and His Assistant are good. But they should consider sacking or not using Razak Abalora. This is the second time he caused such blender and it resulted into a goal.

Eeei fireman, so what will you call what Abalora did last nite leading to goal, if it's not howler? Isn't it the same mistakes he's been doing in post for Kotoko leading to him being replaced in recent games? https://t.co/1Dztc9OFtC

CK, maintain Abalora in the post for the Ivory Coast friendly but work on him. He is our best bet behind Ofori. Let’s work on his rough edges and he will be just fine.

Abalora is a good prospect but needs proper guidance to realize his full potential.
Nobody is doubting his potential but when you consistently make these mistakes, your chances at the National team level will gradually fade out.— Ekow Amoasi Is My Name (@amoasi_ekow) June 9, 2021
