Ghanaian international defender, Lalas Abubakar dazzled for Colorado Rapids against Houston Dynamo in the MLS.
The 25-year-old stalwart defender netted his first goal of the season for Colorado in their 1-1 draw at home to Houston Dynamo FC.
After a goalless first half, Christian Ramirez gave the visitors the lead when he powered home the game’s opening goal one minutes after coming back from the recess.
The home team pushed for the equalizer several times in the game but failed to make the big chances count.
Just when all hope was lost, the bulky Ghanaian defender, Abubakar popped up on the 90th minutes to pounds on a loose ball inside the goal area to square things for Colorado Rapids despite being the better side throughout the match.
Colorado remains in the bottom three of the table after drawing four games out of nine with just two wins this campaign.
The Ghana International has played six games in the Major League Soccer in America for his side and has one goal to his name thanks to his equalizer against Houston Dynamo.
