Ghanaian forward Osei Barnes was on target twice for Academica de Coimbra in their win over Casa Pia on Sunday night.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian international registered his first and second league goals foe his team as they clinched all three points.
Academica de Coimbra picked the lead after just five minutes into the match with a strike from Marcus Paolo.
Wilson Kenidy pulled parity three minutes later to make it one all before halftime.
Osei, put his side back in the lead with a sublime finish in the 63rd minute the mark to make it 2-1 to the Black and Whites.
The Ghanaian forward gave grabbed the match winner for side and his second on the night.
The victory means that Academica de Coimbra have moved two places above automatic relegation spot in the Portuguese second tier.
