Only three teams have reach at least 20 points in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season and they are league leaders Karela United, second-placed Great Olympics and Asante Kotoko who are third.
Karela United
The leaders of the league became the first side to reach the 20-point mark following their 2-0 win over Medeama and their draw at Legon Cities have taken them to 22 points after 12 games of a possible 36 points. Impressive.
Great Olympics
The Wonder Club consecutive wins over Hearts of Oak and Kong Faisal football club saw them earn their 21st point of the season. Olympics are second on the table – one point adrift leaders Karela United as the title race starts to take shape.
Asante Kotoko
The Porcupine Warriors – despite their inability to score many goals – moved up the table with a draw at Ashantigold and a win over Inter Allies. They have 20 points from 12 games and are 3rd on the standings as things stand now.
