Accra Great Olympics have established themselves as the best team from the Greater Accra region this season in the Ghana Premier League as they are second after round of 12 games.
Great Olympics have a record of 6 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats. They have scored 16 goals whilst allowing in 9 goals. They have beaten Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, WAFA, Legon Cities, Inter Allies and King Faisal. These performances put them above the other Greater Accra -based teams.
Hearts of Oak
The Phobians have dropped down the table to 11th place after losing two games in a row against city rivals and Medeama. At the moment, things are not looking good for Kosta Papic and his boys.
Legon Cities
They are placed 14th – one place above the relegation zone. But Cities have started to look good as they are unbeaten in their last games against Ashantigold which they won 5-2, against Inter Allies a game they won by 1-0 and then drawing against leaders of the league Karela United.
Liberty Professionals
No more the Scientific Soccer Lads. Liberty are in the relegation mire with 11 points from possible 36. This represents a very bad return for the team of coach David Ocloo.
Inter Allies
They are the worst Greater Accra team in the league this season. 9 defeats, 2 draws and 1 win. That is some really bad records for Allies who are 18th on the league table. Even in the same relegation zone, Liberty and King Faisal are better than them.
