The Phobians’ triumph marks their second consecutive win under the guidance of new manager Aboubakar Ouattara and propels them from 10th to seventh place in the league standings with 27 points.
Despite falling behind to an early goal from Walid Fuseini for the home side, Hearts of Oak displayed resilience and determination to mount a comeback.
The equalizer came just five minutes into the second half, courtesy of Salisu Ibrahim’s goal, leveling the scoreline at 1-1.
With momentum on their side, the Ivorian sensation Kassim Cisse netted the winning goal eleven minutes later, securing a vital victory for Hearts of Oak and sparking celebrations among the players and fans alike.
On the other hand, Maxwell Konadu’s Nsoatreman FC faced disappointment as they dropped from third to fourth place in the league standings with 30 points.
Looking ahead, Nsoatreman FC will aim to bounce back when they face Dreams FC on Wednesday, March 6, at the Nana Kromansah Park in match week 20 of the Ghana Premier League.
