Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC midfielder, Kwame Adom Frimpong has assured the fans of the team’s first victory of the season when they meet Legon Cities FC today.
The High-flying midfielder believes that the Porcupines will be smiling today at the Accra Sports Stadium in their week five encounter with Legon Cities FC.
“The team with the richest history is Asante Kotoko…but we have two points so far, therefore the determination we take into this game is unmatched,” he said.
According to the fast rising Asante Kotoko star, the team will not leave any stone unturned when they clash with their former coach Bashir Hayford’s team this evening.
“We were poised to take that zeal into the CAF Champions League game which couldn’t come off and so we are diverting all of it into the Legon Cities game.
The 24-year-old also added that the team will not take any chances and will not also underrate their opponents for this evening’s clash.
“We won’t underrate them [Legon Cities]…we will play the game like its a world cup final and I believe we will end the game with a win.
Kotoko are winless in the Ghana Premier League season after playing two games against Bono and Ahafo teams in their opening two games.
The game will kickoff at 6pm today at the Accra Sports Stadium and will be live on all StarTimes Ghana platforms.
