Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has watered down calls for him to vacate his seat insisting he can’t think far on calls for him to step down.
The Black Stars inability to win the just ended Africa Cup of nations in Gabon coupled with what many have described as over concentration on the Black Stars to the detriment of the other national sides.
But speaking on Neat FM, the astute lawyer says his critics should allow those who elected him into power decided on his future.
“I can’t think far on those calling on me to step down”.
“They should allow the people who put me there decided when my tenure ends in 2019 because the GFA job is not a life and death affair” he added.
Nyantakyi’s reign has seen the unprecedented three-time qualification of the Black Stars to the World Cup.
His administration has however been criticized the most for the alleged poor organization of the league.
