Former Ghana U-23 national team coach, Malik Jabir, says he is ready to accept any appointment by the Kurt Okraku led administration.
The former Black Stars striker applied for the vacant Ghana Football Association technical Director role after the exit of Franci Oti Akenteng.
However, SPORTS SPORTS GHANA understands, Jabir despite impressing a panel who interviewed him for the technical director role, won’t be handed the job as the FA intends appointing an expatriate and instead offer him the role of Director of Coaches Education.
Speaking on Otec FM in reaction to the purported news, the Asante Kotoko legend said “Why not? I am ready for any appointment given to me by the FA because we are all Ghanaians and want the best for our country and the national teams,”
“I have no problem and I am ever ready because it’s important to get the job done.” He added
Malik Jabir coached Ghana’s U23 team from 2014 to 2016.
