Elmina Sharks star Issaka Mohammed put up an incredible performance to win the Man of the Match award as his side defeated Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The fearsome Sharks welcomed home Inter Allies FC to the Nduom Sports Stadium in Elmina for their Ghana Premier League week six encounter with the Accra-based team.
The game was played on a tempo in the early stages of the match as both sides showed glimpses of brilliance in the first 15 minutes of the match.
As the game went on, the host, Elmina Sharks begun to show more seriousness and eagerness to collect all three points as they upped their game a little bit more than their opponents.
Five minutes to the end of the first half, Sharks were awarded a penalty and starman Benjamin Tweneboah stepped up to convert the spot-kick to make it 1-0 to the Green and Whites before the break.
There were no goals in the second half and Sharks won their second match of the 2020-21 season to hand Inter Allies their third defeat in six games.
Elmina Sharks moves to six place with nine points whiles Inter Allies sit 16th with four points.
