Ghanaian forward, Joel Fameyeh was on target for FC Orenburg in their 1-3 defeat at home to Yenisey Krasnoyarsk.
Valeriy Kichin opened the scoring in the 11th minute for the visitors and Mikhail Sivakov’s own goal made it 2-0 to the away team before the break.
Valeriy Kichin was red carded on the 42nd minute of the match.
After the recess, the visitors who were playing with 10-men did not give the visitors shooting opportunities despite being the second best in the second half and went on to score their third goal on the 79th minute to stretch their lead to three through Aleksandr Zotov’s strike.
Four minutes later, Fameyeh scored a consolation for his side with seven minutes to full time to reduce the deficit to two goals but the hosts could not stage a comeback as they suffered a bitter 1-3 defeat at home.
The 23-year-old former Asokwa Deportivo SC hitman has scored five goals in 14 games in the Russian National Football League this campaign.
