Swindon Town goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott says his Black Stars call up has been fast.
The goalkeeper who has been in fine form for the League 2 side mentioned that though he had prior knowledge of his call up, he was not sure as he thought he might be overlooked.
“It was something I was aware of before but it was never going to happen because I wasn’t playing,” he told Bristol Post
“I found out on the Sunday after the game on the Saturday last week that I have been called by Ghana. And it’s just happened quite fast. Let’s see what happens after when I leave for Ghana.” He added.
Wollacott, 25, has kept four clean sheets and conceded eight goals in ten games so far this season.
