Talks between Ghanaian enforcer James Kotei and Tanzanian outfit Young Africans are in its final stage as a return to the league where he attained cult status beckons.
Kotei was released by Belarusian club Slavia Mozyr last week through mutual agreement after just six months and he now looks set to join the eternal rivals of his former club Simba FC.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that talks between Kotei and Young Africans would be completed in the coming weeks and he will sign a two-year contract with them but cannot play in the league until next season as it is against FIFA rules to be on the books of three different clubs in one football calendar season.
Kotei, 26, was registered by Kaizer Chiefs this season but failed to make an appearance before having his deal canceled after which he moved to Slavia Mozyr in January this year where he could not also play a single game before his deal was terminated through mutual consent.
