Asante Kotoko coach,, Mariano Barreto has revealed how he feels to have the supporters back in the stadium as they play Tarkwa-based Medeama SC today.
The excited manager described the return of the fans as wonderful as his team plays their first game in front of their fans since he took over the club.
Speaking to Kotoko media he said: “This is wonderful because the two important things in football are the players and the fans. Without players we don’t have football and without fans the game becomes less amazing.”
According to the Portuguese coach, playing in an empty stadium without passionate supporters is a cake without cake and makes the game incomplete.
” It’s like a cake without icing on the top. We want to give a gift to them and we hope they will support us during all the minutes we are in”, he said.
25 percent of the Len Clay Stadium would be allowed into the stadium as the Porcupine Warriors host the Yellow and Mauves at 3pm today in Obuasi.
