Reigning MTN FA Cup champions Asante Kotoko on Monday, presented the trophy they won to title sponsors MTN at the MTN House in Accra.
The Porcupine warriors defeated their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the finals to win their ninth FA Cup title in Tamale.
Kotoko who will be making a return to Africa after a three year absence will represent Ghana in next year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition.
The Kumasi based club were represented by Deputy Captain Eric Donkor,Owusu Jackson and Ahmed Adams together with Team Manager Godwin Ablordey, a member of the communications team Thomas Boakye Agyemang and other management members.
Speaking at the ceremony, acting CEO of MTN Modupe Kadiri promised massive support for the club ahead of their participation in Africa.
“We are happy to renew our sponsorship deal with the club and we are doing quiet well and we hope it will continue for a very long time ”

Kotoko also defeated Hearts of Oak to win the 2017 President’s Cup .
