Ex-Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edward Jarvis Peprah has claimed that the club will come nowhere near rivals Accra Hearts of Oak if the management fails to resolve the relationship issues between the current Chief Executive Officer and the club’s Board chairman.
There have been reports of a rift between Nana Yaw Amponsah and Dr. Kwame Kyei, which some believe has stalled the progress of the club under the guidance of Nana Yaw Amponsah, who has been at the club for just a year.
Jarvis Peprah believes such situations do not help the club and the implications of that will always be the club always falling behind Accra Hearts of Oak.
“The end result of that is that the club will always finish behind Hearts as was the case in the just ended season,” he told Ashh FM in an interview.
“It is no surprise that Hearts have won the double, that is what we will see if we sit and continue to fight amongst ourselves.
“Some people on the board need to call both Nana Yaw Amponsah and Dr. Kyei and try to resolve these issues, if that doesn’t happen then we are just messing up the club.”
