Legon Cities FC shot stopper, Eric Ofori Antwi has revealed the reason behind his team’s great game against Ghana Champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
According to the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC goalie, the match against the Phobians was a tough one which a special self motivation before the game.
“This is a big game and we were so much motivated and ready for it”,he said after the game.
He further revealed that each and every player’s confidence was very high for the match against the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League winners.
“The confidence was on a different level from my teammates. We gave our all but sadly couldn’t get the win but generally the draw was okay.”
Antwi, who joined the club this summer after leaving Medeama SC was named Man-Of-The-Match in the goalless stalemate on Sunday afternoon in his first game for the Royals.
