Former Ghana Athletics Association President George Haldane Lutterodt has urged Sports minister Isaac Asiamah to allow his works to speak for him and stop praising himself.
The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua in the Ashanti Region has come under barrage of criticisms for talking much rather than doing what is expected of him.
It will be recall that Isaac Asiamah hyped his achievements after he claimed to have helped restored electricity at the Accra Sports stadium.
But the former Ghana Athletics Association President George Haldane Lutterodt insists there are more important things for Asiamah to tackle.
“You see in Ghana, we should stop dealing with mediocrity”.
“Is that the standards we have set for ourselves that the light come on at the Accra sports stadium and that should be something of an achievement?”
“Is that What Ghana has come about”?
“ As a sports minister you should tell us something of much importance to tell us but the restoring light at the Accra Sports stadium and trumpeting it as a huge achievement, you are embarrassing your own government” he told Starr Sports
